1. Agreement to Terms (शर्तों की स्वीकृति)

The Civil बंधु app and the website civilbandhu.in (together, the “Service”) are operated by CHANDAN KUMAR (Legal Business), Chandigarh, India (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading, accessing or using the Service, or by purchasing a plan, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Educational Disclaimer (महत्वपूर्ण अस्वीकरण)

Civil बंधु is an independent, privately run educational platform. We are not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), NCERT, the Government of India, or any government agency, and we do not provide any government service.

Study materials such as NCERT books and previous year questions (PYQ) are compiled from publicly available sources to help Hindi medium students. The official sources are ncert.nic.in (NCERT textbooks) and upsc.gov.in (UPSC question papers).

Solutions, model answers, tests and analysis are prepared by our team. They are not official answer keys, may contain errors, and should not be treated as official. Always verify exam dates, syllabus and notifications on upsc.gov.in. We do not guarantee any result in any examination. See the full Disclaimer.

3. Your Account (आपका खाता)

• You sign in to the app with your Google account. You are responsible for all activity on your account.
• Plans are for the personal use of the account holder only. Sharing your account or login with others is not allowed.
• Please provide accurate information, including the same email at checkout that you use in the app.

4. Plans and Payments (प्लान व भुगतान)

• Paid plans (बंधु मोबाइल and बंधु+) are one-time payments with no recurring charges. They give lifetime access to the content included in your plan on the supported devices, for as long as the Service is operated.
• बंधु मोबाइल works on Android phones and tablets. बंधु+ works on Android and Windows PC.
• Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). Website payments are processed securely by Cashfree Payments on shop.upscsociology.in; in-app purchases are processed by Google Play. We do not store your card, UPI or bank details.
• Your plan is activated on the account linked to the email entered at checkout.

5. Updates to Content and Features (अपडेट नीति)

Updates and corrections to the content included in your plan are provided free of charge. Any new feature or module added to the app in future is not automatically part of an existing plan and will be offered as a separate paid upgrade.

6. Refunds and Cancellations (रिफ़ंड)

All plans are digital products and are activated immediately after payment. We do not offer refunds or cancellations. Please read our Refund & Cancellation Policy before buying.

7. Intellectual Property (बौद्धिक संपदा)

The app, its design, our solutions, model answers, tests, analysis and all related trademarks and copyrights belong to us. Third-party content such as NCERT books remains the property of its respective owners and is provided for educational use.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the app, or copy, record, resell or redistribute any content from the Service.

8. Acceptable Use (उचित उपयोग)

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers, APIs or other users’ accounts.
• Share, sell or redistribute paid or free content from the app.
• Harass or abuse other users where community features are available.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms, without refund.

9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability (दायित्व की सीमा)

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Your use of the Service is at your own risk and discretion. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including any outcome in an examination. Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control (force majeure).

10. Changes to These Terms (बदलाव)

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page, so please review it periodically.

11. Governing Law (लागू कानून)

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chandigarh.
